Can you see North Korea from the DMZ
What you can see
Kaesong, open farmland, the North Korean propaganda village and the towering flagpoles are all visible from the observatory on a clear day.
The propaganda village
Across the border stands a model village with tall flagpoles, built to be seen from the South. Your guide will point it out.
Best conditions for views
Clear, dry mornings in spring and autumn are best. Summer haze and winter mist can limit how far into the North you can see.
