Morning, the early start
The day begins early, with pickup or a central meeting point in Seoul between roughly 7 and 8. After a short briefing you head north, reaching the checkpoints in about an hour. Use the drive to rest and listen to your guide set the scene.
Late morning, the core sites
First up is usually the Third Tunnel, where you walk down into the infiltration tunnel. Then it is on to Dora Observatory for the view into North Korea, and often Dorasan Station, the railway pointing north.

Afternoon and return
After lunch, and often a defector talk, the tour visits Imjingak peace park and the Gamaksan suspension bridge. You then drive back to Seoul, arriving in the late afternoon, a full but rewarding day behind you.
